Surrey Digital Academy is a private education organization offering courses to help students build and enhance their digital skillset. We value the participation of all students and want them to have an enjoyable experience. It is expected all students show respect and courtesy to others. At Surrey Digital Academy, our Code of Conduct is that we do not tolerate harassment of participants in any form. Harassment includes but is not limited to: any and all verbal, written or digital communication that has potential to be perceived as offensive in relation to gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, or religion; sexual images (personal or public) being viewable on your computer by others; deliberate intimidation be it physical or verbal; stalking or following; unwelcomed photography or recordings; sustained disruption of talks or other events; inappropriate and/or unwanted physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention or advances. By agreeing to our Terms of Service, you (and if applicable, your participating child) agree to maintain a professional degree of conduct and abide by our Code of Conduct.
Attendance is mandatory for all Surrey Digital Academy courses. A student’s absence may be excused in the case of contagious/serious illness or injury, death in the family or similar emergency. In the event of recurring or excessive absence due to illness, a doctor’s note may be required to be eligible for any refund.
For the Full Stack Web Development part-time course, the refund policy is as follows:

During the sign up or registration process, Surrey Digital Academy may collect your name, email and phone number. This information may be used to contact you regarding Surrey Digital Academy's course or workshop information via a newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time.
During courses, you may be sent additional information related to the services provided. You may opt out of receiving marketing communications; however we may send you relevant notices where permitted by law. We may also ask you for your t-shirt size in order to provide you with a Surrey Digital Academy branded t-shirt or similar swag. During the course, we may take pictures to help promote our services, and will ask for your consent where we can. You can decline your consent to be in any marketing collateral. Surrey Digital Academy stores data on servers located in both Canada and abroad as we use third-party provides such as Google, Heroku, Slack, and Zoho Mail. You acknowledge and agree that your Personal Information may be accessible to law enforcement and governmental agencies in those countries under lawful access regimes or court order.
Parents will be asked to sign waivers for their kids participation in any in-person workshops. Additionally, we will ask for consent from parents for any marketing material which involves their kids to help promote our services. You can decline your consent.
